Thank you sweet sisters for the flowers! Update, too

Imagine my great surprise and delight when I got home today from getting my Neulasta injection today to find a beautiful bouquet of tulips awaiting me from FTD...Then to open them to find they were from you, my kindred sisters....I cried when I read the card.... I can't thank you all enough!
Even my husband was a bit bowled over....thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had my second chemo yesterday.....Avastin, Gemzar and Carboplatin....and once again even they had " tweaked" premeds, when I got home I had a horrible time breathing...not as bad as the first time but awful just the same....my next one in two weeks they are going to keep me for at least an hour afterwards..I will get up and walk around and if need be they will give me oxygen....Each of these 3 drugs can cause breathing problems so I guess 3 of them is a triple whammy! But on the upside I slept 8 hours last night...first time in months I've gotten that much sleep at one time! Felt so good when I got up...my rads oncologist released me today...but I can't drive for two more months.....even though I never had a seizure due to the three spots on the brain, he explained that even as they shrink up and die there's a very small chance of a seizure...oh well...the hubby takes me where ever I need to go as do friends....

If I continue to feel good, we are going to Florida on Monday to visit my husband's brother and wife.....keeping my fingers crossed...

Again, to all who had a hand in the beautiful tulips, I thank you from the bottom of my heart....
