Will anyone be willing to offer ideas or suggestions. I lost my mom to liver cancer four years ago. And now my brother has liver masses that are cancerous. He will see oncologist tomorrow. I feel so hopeless. |

Hopefully a liver resection is an option. My dad has received laser ablation to his liver at Mayo in Rochester with great results. Make sure you check into all your options. I wish you the best.

Since you have had two direct family members to develop this cancer, you need to be screened on a regular basis with an ultrasound and AFP. AFP however is not always elevated in liver cancer. Please discuss screening for yourself with your doctor.
