Well, the phone rings, just can tell it's one of those calls...we're intalling windows etc in your area would you like a free quote. This time it was a woman, selling garbage bags for colon cancer research!!! What?? Really??? She was saying "colon cancer" in a tone like no one hears of this....she sounded all prepared for explaining. Of course I'll buy some :)

    Pete....that would be Canadian EH!!! Okay...so here is the thing....tonight they call and say delivery tomorrow morning, is that convenient for for me?? I say yes. My one son is in the dining room kinda listening asking what was that about....I tell him I they are doing fundraiser for colon cancer so I ordered garbage bags from them...his response is "Oh are they gonne be pink!!!!" He got an earfull...let's just leave it at that....don't think he'll be mentioning pink again.....

    Pete,
    Just in case you missed it, stateside it's CRC awareness month, and our "color" is blue. If you think garbage bags are crazy you should see some of the stupid stuff they do with pink...

    I still liked the idea someone on here had with the wrist bands.
    They should be white with a brown strip in the middle!
    What's with the Blue???
    When I think of colons (which I don't do more often than I need to) Blue does NOT come to mind very often. Maybe "The Blues" as in Music but not Smurf Blue unless they are the Official mascots of Colon's (which could explain many things...)
