My husband was diagnosed with cancer on September 2, 2011. Since then we have had two endoscopies, one exploratory surgery, on feeding tube surgery, two rounds of chemo and 5 weeks of everyday radiation. He could not start the third chemo because he was so sick. We are scheduled to go in and have a CT scan on Saturday to see if the treatments have made any difference. Here is my question, has anyone had any luck with the Cancer Treatment Centers of America? His doctor said he was not a candidate of the surgery and we should make the rest of life as comfortable as possible...

Thank you for any information you can give me...Trusting in our Lord and Savior for a miracle!!!

Hi Rainy,

I have to say this. It is definately worth a second opinion I lost my father on September 20th to this beast. I had thought about taking him there to. I hope that you definately do look into it. Any help I might be please let me know. You can email me here and i will give you my personal email. If you'd like. I took care of my dad from the moment of diagnosis until the moment he was called home.

Healing prayers,

Valerie

Hey Valerie,

They contacted me and said I could bring him there, however, he is so weak and they want him to get stronger before he can travel. I feel like we are running out of time, but they are afraid he may get sick once we get there and they are an out paitent facility. How long was your father sick? I am so sorry for your loss!

19 months from diagnosis to him losing the battle. I would definately take the oppurtunity to go when you are able. There are many good hospitals... But Cancer centers are highly recommended
