I've got a new lump. It is very tiny, but I am terrified that it could be the bc coming back. I haven't said anything before now, as, I was just trying to ignore it and hoping it would go away. But, it is still there, so, my oncologist has ordered a mammo and ultrasound for me this Friday.

I know it is best to always get these new lumps checked out and I am thankful that I have such a good and caring oncologist. I just wish it wasn't there at all.

He thinks it is just scar tissue and I am hoping and praying that it is too. I've seen several posts on here about scar tissue, so, crossing my fingers that is what it is.

So if you would please, come along with me this Friday as I am shaking in my boots and could sure use my pink sisters there with me.

Scared,

Megan

    Positive Thoughts
    Hi Megan,

I'm not much of a pink bus rider but, I will think positive thoughts for you that day. Hoping it will be some benign lump such a cyst or even scar tissue. Better to make certain what it really is.

If it is, you will deal with it, you won't like it and wish it to go away, but we all learn how to deal with it and you will too. Hoping that your oncologist is correct and crossing my fingers too.

My very best to you on Friday,

    Doris

    Sister Megan,

I so much get it!!! I get nervous for every appt. I have now, regardless of what they are checking. :-/ I too have scar tissue, so much I can’t even feel what’s inside anymore. Some areas feel lumpy as well. Please try to stay positive at all time (hard, I know). I’m sorry you are worrying, but it’s best to check now and get it over with for peace of mind. May you get good results! I’ll be there with you and will also be praying for good results.

    Hugs to you!

When do you go for your tests? I hope it isn't too early, but, even if it is, I will be there.

I think I might bring some of that silly string myself. LOL
