Just a quick thank you to all who come to this site weekly and some daily. When you have cancer, the consistency and loyalty of people are a big, big help because so many people abandon you. You wouldn't have to come here to offer support... especially the ones who are in remission, but when you do, you are being SOOOOO selfless. You are SPECIAL!!

    I agree Janie. The regulars
    I agree Janie. The regulars feel like family. I wondered whether I should take a break for me own healing following this surgery but realize that there is a possibility that I might be able to help others like everyone helped me. Craig is what I want to be when I grow up. He has considered it a mission to use words to help healing. They worked for me and now it is my obligation to "pay it forward". Thank all of you who have provided me with valuable information, support, and even laughs. Lisa

    What a very nice post and comment to leave. I'm here to help if possible or just to give a reassuring thought to others. Everyone was so open to me when first joining and I've just wanted to give that back to others also. Thanks for the kind words. Everyone here is so wonderful.

    I agree with your sentiments. This board has been a great source of comfort and help to me. Yes, there are squabbles from time to time, but the good I've gotten from this board outweighs any of that.
    I enjoy being able to be a source of help or encouragement to others from time to time.
    It's nice that you put that down in words. :)

    it is a big family, its a challenging illness, we need all the help we can get.
    sometimes the huge benefit of being able to type your feelings, is lost in the reactions those feelings generate, but the act of getting are thoughts as muddle as mine often are out of my head gives me a measure of peace. i am sure everyone who contributes here gains enormously. its something i am very grateful for.
