Another star in the sky. And the brightest to me, forever.

My beautiful, lovely, caring and devoted mum passed away yesterday. She was only 66. She left us quickly and the cancer lost in the end, it was on her own terms.
Wishing all of you strength and courage in your fights against this disgusting disease.
Liz

    So sorry
So sorry to hear about your mom. I know the hole left in your life when a parent dies. My father-in-law passed away 20 years ago when he was 66 also. The emptiness is huge for awhile but now we have all the good memories of the joy he brought to all our lives.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Yes, this disease is disgusting. George recently lost a friend to this disease at age 48.

May you find strength and courage in the coming days as you face the world without your mom.

Take care - George and Tina

I am very sorry about your mom, I lost my to colon cancer 5/5/06 she was 57.

I am glad you said that the cancer lost, many times people will say it won, but your cancer can't survive without you, so in the end it dies too.

I hope fond memories of her help you find comfort.

No more pain for her, now only peace.

    Best Wishes,
    Chris
