Lung Cancer in the bone - long term survivors?

My spouse is so down thinking he has so short a time and can never feel better.
Any comments on this from long term survivors? We are seniors.

    Don’t give up
I had NPC cancer three times and the last time I was told that I only had less than a 5% chance of surviving it with only Chemo and a zero chance without Chemo treatment. I am still here 6 years later and enjoying life so all I can say is never give up hope, there is always a way and always a chance.

    Books Offering Hope
You might want to read some of the books written by Greg Anderson, like "Cancer:50 Essential Things To Do". He had advanced lung cancer with bone mets, and was told he had 30 days to live. That was over 25 years ago. He has advice for people going through such a diagnosis, and websites, too. Good luck to you!

Another good book is "Anti-Cancer: A New Way of Life", by David Servan-Schreiber. He was a doctor/psychiatrist who survived some 20 years with a brain tumor.

For some stories of survivors, try "From Incurable to Incredible", and "I Beat Cancer: 50 People tell you how they did it". Obviously, these are exceptional stories, but it does provide some hope and encouragement!
