good news re: Nov. 10th surgery - prayers DO work!!!!!

Just to let you sweet sisters know that my surgeon Dr. Barakat called today to say that he feels the surgery scheduled for Nov. 10th does not need to be major open up serious as he had originally thought but can be done laproscopically (!) because the nasty tumor is so tiny and isolated with no spread - this would mean quick recovery time - YIPPIE!!!! He said worst case they would get me on the table and determine if it could be done and if not - then they go for the full monty (LOL) Either Way - I am so greatful to have this option - and the fact that anything can be done at all is encouraging - PRAYERS DO WORK!!!!Thank You so Much My Sisters!!! You are all in my prayers daily -

    Prayers do work
    Have you ever used the Saint Judes candle prayer. It is nice because once you say the prayer and lite the candle the prayer keeps going as long as the candle is lit.

    St Jude
    I say the St Jude prayer all the time have for many years and yes it does work, at least I believe it does. But I have not heard of the St Jude candle prayer, can you please tell me more about it. Thanks so much Kathy P.S. Glad to hear about your surgery. Will say a pray for you.

    I also was able to have my surgery laproscopically(sp?)....actually roboticaly....it was probably as good as it gets. I was only in the hospital one night and had minimal pain. I was able to get back to chemo very quickly which was very important at the time. Good luck to you and be sure to keep us posted! Hugs and prayers!
