Hi all,

I decided that I should formally introduce myself after seeing all of the posts that my "Check Posting Date" post started. It's nice to see that the people on this board have such introspective and thought provoking discussions. Not to mention that everyone seems quite respectful of each others point of view - very nice.

Anyway, as for me, I'm the primary caregiver to my partner, Rick, who has Stage IV colon cancer (he's only 44 yrs old.). We've been in this fight since early December '09. He's had three major surgeries since that horrible day; colon, liver and HIPEC. It's been one heck of a roller coaster ride with emotions all over the place. I'm coping a little better now, but I still have my moments... Anyway, I hope to be able to contribute to this board and look forward to knowing you all.
