For edt36: good to hear Mom is better

Just wanted to start a new thread to let you know I am praying for a good PET scan for your mom. The other post was old & long & had scary stuff on it a about chemo.

I read a big explanation about ovarian cancer written by an oncologist--there's a part where he wrote some advice for people who are not making progress with chemo should they decide not to continue chemo. He wrote "You're not dead yet so get the most out of life that you can." I think that applies to all of us--survivors and family members. Enjoy as much as you can. Life is so unpredictable anyway.

A cancer diagnosis reminds us all of how precious life is. I'm glad to hear your mom is feeling better & maybe things can be a new "normal" for your family.
