There must be some way to be sure that the iodine in our system is low enough. Is there a test of blood, urine, or sweat ?

I wish there was. I also wish there was a way to know how long iodine stays in the body. I have been trying to find answers to questions like that too. No luck so far. I havent approached any universities etc - maybe they can find some answers.

I know things like vitamin C are excreted from the body after so many hours. It would be nice to know how iodine is stored in our bodies, and how long it takes to replenish/deplete the stores.

I'll keep searching for answers.

Good luck
