3rd Mamo After Finishing Treatment.

Options
Yesterday I had my 3rd mamo since completing treatment and all is well. It was also time for all of my annual stuff, pap, pelvic ultra-sound and bone density(SP) and those were all good as well. I have to have one more of just the lefty in Mar and then I can go back to just doing annual mamos. Yeah

You know what kills me. They tell you "don't move, don't breathe". How the heck are you gonna do either one when the are smasshing your boob in that contraption.

Hugs to All

Donna

    They say don't move
Well I almost pass out holding my breath.I guess if I did I would be still hanging with my boob smashed. I tell them to hurry.I am about to go down.

Yeare ago they had the mammos with metal.Very cold. The radiologist would go into a room to take the pics. The radiologist was lowering the plate.Suddenly without warning it just slammed down on me.I was stuck,in shock and half way out of it. My eyes were rolling.Took 3 of them to come running to get me. A very very horrible experience.

With having benign breast tumors since I was 20(now 64) I always had doc check ups every year.Tumors would be found and in the hospital within 2 days for surgery. As time went on it was these metal plate mammos. It is easier today but not easy enough for me.I feel like my chest is being crushed. That bad experience doesn't help matters.
