I had that very same thing
I had that very same thing happen to me shortly after my surgery and after I had started chemo. I was quite strange to see because I would be sitting with piles of blankets on the rest of my body because I was freezing but I would have to have something cool on the back of my neck. I mentioned it to my doctors and even though they did tell me specifically what it was they weren't concerned. And it only happened over a few months time. But, I would still at least mention it to your doctor so that it's documented.

    Same thing
My menopause was surgically induced but I still get hot flashes and I too will be freezing cold and my neck, face and head are sweating. My fiancée can even tell when it starts because face starts to flush and my body gets tacky. So annoying because it happens multiple times a day and it just comes on out of no where. Dr says it from the estrogen becoming less in our bodies.

    I had red cheeks
Whenever I received any steroids during chemo, I always ended up getting red cheeks. This happened the day after I received chemo and depending on how much of a steroid I was given, the first time it used to last for about 2-3 days. I noticed that a few months ago, it happened again, but I only had red cheeks for a day and then it disappeared. I asked the dr. about it and he said it was from the steroid.

    Hot flashes
I work with an accupuncturist who prescribes Chinese herbs to keep my menopausal symptoms at bay. They work great!
