hip and lower back pain

in Breast Cancer #1
I will need prayers from you guys for the next couple of weeks.
I had BC two years ago ( bilateral mastectomy, radiation, chemo, two positive nodes)
Currently with lower back pain / hip pain for about four weeks. Onc took xray of hip - normal now headed for bone scan on the 9/12. Please pray for me and my little nine yr old girl (single mom) that I will be ok. Again I'm play the waiting game. Onc said that she didn't think it was mets. I am on arimidex and get zometa every three months (clinical trial).
I don't know how I will cope with this if it's positive. Thanks for listening.

    Will say a prayer that the pain you are having has to do with anything else but cancer. I have an 11 year old and finished my 2nd year with NED. Hugs to you. In the meanwhile, keep busy with things you love to do with your daughter.

    It may be a pinched nerve
    prv, I'm not sure of your age. Recently I did a lot of bending/lifting and got a sore lower back, which migrated to hip pain. It's been 4 weeks for me too. I moved my 6 month visit with my oncologist up to ask him. He's pretty confident it's a pinched nerve and advised me to take Ibuprofen.
    Let us know how it turns out.

    hip pain... oh I know the feeling
    I have hip low back pain frequently. I see a chiropractor. Could not make it w/o this dr. Also some have issues with the sciatic nerve after chemo, just another side effect some may have. If you had the Neulasta shot during chemo it could be a contributing factor to the hip bone pain.

    This is what I do.
    Go to chiropractor
    Use heat, and/or ice.
    Pain meds, whatever works.
    Be aware of how you sit, stand, and sleep. Try to eliminate the stress from your hips
