Niki & Jeff,

Be calm and know all is as good in your world as it can be as you, Jeff, undergo surgery tomorrow. We pray for an easy and successful surgery, and a good pathology report following. May your path to recovery be speedy and smooth.

Niki - you have my mobile number still, I believe. Call if your nerves get to be too much for you. I understand.

Blessings to you as you pass through the stress of waiting and into the surgical arms of recovery.

    The nerves are ok right now, but I am calmly sitting in my living room, not sure what tomorrow at noon will look like. I have two very good friends traveling with me to Baltimore, and Jeff's sister will most likely be there as well. We have complete faith in Jeff's surgeons abilities and that brings us peace and calm.

    Of course I am still praying very hard, and would appreciate others prayers as well.

    Thanks again and I will provide updates. Thinking of you as well as you prepare for surgery on Thursday.

    You and Jeff will be in my prayers. The wait during surgery is stressful but you'll do great. It's always nice to have a support team there with you. Make sure you eat and stay hydrated. Take snacks if you don't want to leave the surgery waiting area. It's important that you take care of you now so you can take care of Jeff when he returns home!

    Two weeks
    Nicki, Jeff, Terry, and Nick-

    Good luck to all of us this week! I'm praying for peace for all of us as we complete what has probably been the toughest four months of our lives! I'm praying for all of us (and Luis as he continues his recovery) and michael as well. I'm also praying for some other friends on this site who got me to where I am...

    Just got back to town. Keep me posted!

    Go for it "guys." You've been working hard to reach this point. You've got wonderful doctors, wonderful facilities, support of your family and friends, and everyone here on this site pulling for great results. You're reaching a significant milestone. Recovery is ever so sweet, and your life will be ever more full having traveled and continuing to travel this journey.

    Got the prayers started and will be looking for your updates.

    I like Paul's closing remark when he posts, something to the effect that life may no be the party we hoped for but while we're here we might as well dance. (I'm terrible at quoting maxims and the like, but you get the idea.)
