I have appealed my insurance refusing to pay for Evoxac for salava I don't think I will win but I am trying they said it's not approved by the FDA I find that hard to belive. I think to day has been the worse day for dry mouth I live in central Alabama and it is very hot and dry the grass is brown from all the hot dry weather I have used a 1/2 bottle of Stoppers 4 just today. Wish me luck on the appeal.

    rain on the way, Robert
I'm in north Alabama so I know you are really looking forward to the tropical storm and all the rain they are promising.

    Hoping it helps.

Love how they make our medical decisions. What meds we can take, what tests we can get . . . I just received notice that Stanford is not in Anthem Blue Cross, hopefully negotiations will not take too long and it will be reinstated, I do not look forward to looking for new doctors. I am starting to deal with the dry mouth issue, had made enough spit after my treatments last year but undergoing radiation again and we will see, spit and thyroid might take a big hit this month.

Robert, have you tried a humidifier? At the very least, you should have one in your bed room at night for sleeping. It does help. They are pretty cheap at Walmart. I got a cold air one, for $20.

    Insurance

I am not sure who you have for insurance but I have BCBS of Texas and I never had a problem with them paying for Evoxac and I took it for about 6 months. Jump their case and get your doctor to also call the manager at your insurance provider it does help sometimes.

I agree with Hondo, have doctor call insurance. Our ENT called about the PET before biopsy and the insurance company changed their ruling that day.
