My oncologist visit

OK, oncologist said that the foot thing WAS noted on my report in February. Somehow they missed it. The radiologist then called it osteoarthritis, but my oncologist was a little concerned about it.

Regardless, he feels the "serological evidence" (meaning because my markers are going up)is reason enough to change my meds. So we are on to xgeva and faslodex just as soon as I get the go-ahead from insurance. So Chen, it looks like we will be faslodex buddies, starting at the same time!

The plan is to start my news meds, go to MD Anderson September 6, and see my oncologist back in the beginning of October.

In the meantime, I feel OK and did some weeding yesterday and then did the elliptical for 20 minutes (pathetic, but I'm no athlete). And we ate salmon for dinner last night--I should get extra points for that because I am pretty sick of salmon ;-)

Oh and thank you all for
Oh and thank you all for being there! I felt amazingly calm and asked all of my questions somewhat coherently and I know that it was because I had the strength of the pink bus ladies with me!
