now this is deep and and meaningful post.

anyone want another laugh read on.

3 months after reconnection, i have noticed that using 2 immodiums most days keeps my stools together and stops the horrendous 50 poo a day symdrome.

this is the only medication i take but its worth its wait in gold.

within 20 minutes of taking the immodiums i start farting.
this last on and off for an hour.

somehow the immodium makes the stools normal.

in real life i had skipped immodiums all day yesterday, then got the runs for an hour.
went 10 times , very messy, a few accidents. desparately looking for my immodiums.
found a pack thank god.

then i run the bath , put the potty and wipes next to the bath and try as relax.
well lots of gurgling and rumbling, no gas yet.
now i am in the bath and i am expecting bubbles.

no chance to get the kids dinner served, thankgod for tv.

i am playing with my smartphone in the bath, trying to workout how to use it. this a bad habit i have. i love my new android.

i tried to use the voice recognition software to search google
after saying "search alpha lipoic acid"

the phone cameback with fartfartbubble.

and a second later that is exactly what happened.

and i chuckled to myself.

    Hi Pete,
    How many immodiums do you take during the day, I had such a bad day yesterday with going to the bathroom about 40 times but the day before only went about 3 times. I am afraid to even go out of the house in case of accident. I'm 3weeks out from surgery.

    i was going to say "poor dear" but i had a typo.

    i am having problems right now, just had 2 immodiums.[ off to the loo! agaibn! ]

    been waiting for a problem to occur, been having about 2 immodiums a day over the last few weeks. i don't want to take too much immodium and get constipated.

    you should be afraid, accidents are a part of life. i have had some.

    the nappies i got are cool, my wife thinks they are sexy.

    thank god for nappies, oh and immodium.

    not much consolation, except to say we are in the samer shiiity boat.

    it does get better, patience here is a must.

    its gross, but my poos are starting to smell , well like poo.

    i think it must take time for the good bacteria to do its job in our lower gut.
    just a guess though.

    You dare to fart? I am afraid to fart because I never know if air or worse comes with it.
    I learned the hard way. No bubbles for me in the bubbles bath LOL. There might be floaties !!!!
    When I leave the house, nappies are part of the everyday routine, it does get better going only 4 times a day depending on what I have been eating or what type of vegetables juice I have made.

    marjan, you know i am a risk taker
    i dive with sharks and now in the real world i work with them.
    seen a few floaters in my day as well.

    its because our rectum is really the most advanced organ in our bodies, it can tell the
    difference between gas, liquid , solid better than we can. i miss most on my rectum.

    may it rest in pieces.

    But not the 40 trips to a toilet a day. Perm ostomy cured that.
    Now I miss taking my shirt off at the beach. BUT better than the alternative!

    the rectum thats missing had the tumour, easy come , easy go.

    i scare me as well
    but the chuckles are worth it, crc is pretty shiity, i figure the more i make a joke of it, the less fear i have of cancer. i cannot be afraid if i am laughing.
