Two years ago...And after many chemo's...I asked my son to help me with some chores,(He always helps me).... I said..."Dad just isn't as strong as he once was....My son said..."Dad, your the strongest man I know"... I said..."Not anymore"....He then said..."No Dad...what all I've seen you go through with cancer makes you the toughest man I've ever met"....

Gave me a tear!!!! My boy is now getting maried on Saturday July 16th ... last year I told him I would be there for his wedding....what a lucky man I am to be there....

I feel so Blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Right On Brother!
Well, I guess that did, Penn!

That was a nice tender moment and one you will always cherish.

Congratulations on your son's wedding and I'm glad you will be there to make a lifetime memory.

    You are blessed
Thanks for sharing your story. :)
My 11 yr old daughter told me the same thing, as did my 18 yr old son. It made me tear up when I heard it too. (my 15 yr old probably wouldn't notice such a thing at this point- she's at the age where she's very much into herself).
Congrats on your son's upcoming wedding! I bet it will be quite emotional for you- have a good one!

Enjoy the Best Day of your Life
Enjoy the Best Day of your life. Celebrate being with family.
Thoughts and prayers for you both.

I have tears in my eyes. Tears of Joy for you and your son. This week I spent two days with my son who is joining 2500+ Minnesota National Guard Members who leave for Kuwait and Iraq on Monday. I promised him I would be here when he returns one year from now and gave him his Guardian Angel Medallion. My husband and I plan to dance at his wedding when he returns.

Thank you for sharing your story.
Best to you and your family on this special day.
