PET/CT moved to today... UPDATE: **** GOT RESULTS****

This was scheduled for Friday but they called yesterday and said they scheduled it for today instead. I will also get results today. I love getting scans done at this facility just because I get results same day AND its not my regular Onc so this 2nd and very different opinion is a good thing.

Anyway..... I will post an update later this evening. Ya'll take care!

****UPDATE****

They found one BRIGHT 2cm nodule.... or what they think is a nodule in lower left lung. On last scan that area was real cloudy and did not light up. They are just going to keep an eye on it and if it grows I will get a biopsy on it. There is another nodule in upper right lung that was there on last scan but did not light up. NOW..it has decreased in uptake but now has a dim glow. They are not concerned about that at all. Thats it!

I am relieved that no other areas anywhere lit up or are questionable or of any concern. I can LIVE with these results. Soooo...lets say YAY! My CEA has went from 11.9 to 8.2 and that was 3 weeks ago. I get CEA drawn Tuesday and results Wednesday so if that keeps going down I will be more than happy.

Since I am not NED i cannot dance naked so I am heading out to the pool for an evening swim in my panties!!! Thank you guys for all the well wishes. Semi's ROCK!!!

    Best of luck to you!!! I could use some luck too my husband has his scan tomorrow, but no results until friday when we see his onc. So after you get good news today you can send some of that luck and prayers our way. Take Care Kim

    Lots of scans this next couple of days! I'm thinking of you Jennie, and now also Kim and Dora's mum who are also getting scanned. My PET/CT is Monday the 18th & I'll have my results on the 19th, so I'm not too far around the corner with my scan either.
    I'll be looking for your posted results- best wishes and prayers too.

    I hope you had a good swim. :) Good that they are going to monitor the node. It may get smaller and smaller. That is what we are hoping for.

    news.looks like many of us have scans coming up.my next one is the 20th and then go to see my onc on the 25th for results and the next step.are you on any chemo now?congrats and Godbless...johnnybegood
