Hi I have been here since 2009, when I was diagnosed with my second breast cancer. This is not what I am referring to when I said you might be interested BTW LOL. anyway, I am an RN and pretty reserved by nature so i dont believe everything I read, but i have received my second copy of "Cure" magazine which is free to cancer survivors. It has informive relevant articles, on all cancers, and new treatments, as well as many issues that affect us psychologically. This month had a great article on art in the healing process, and dating. Dating is a subject that comes up freqently here. So the website is curetoday.com
Also, Hester Hill has a great blog called Living Beyond Breast Cancer, she is an oncology social worker who has had breast cancer twice. she has wriiten books and is married to an oncologist. Many of her blogs are also very timely, giving great info, and I trust it.
The cure magazine I read about here, but wanted to mention it agian to the new people, and the blog I know because Hester was/is my social worker during treatment. Happy 4th all. Happy Birthday America!

Thanks for the information about the magazine; I just signed up. And I did get Hester's book after hearing people on here talk about it. It was very helpful and I too would highly recommend getting a copy. How lucky were you to have her as your social worker! Hope you are enjoying your Fourth! Hugs, Linda

The issue this summer (I belive it is quarterly not monthly) has articles on survivors using art to promote well-being and the importance of advance care planning. There is also a fascinating article on new therapies for melanoma (using the immune system to fight cancer). And the best news is that it really is free to survivors. Yay!
