Doc. Says i'm doing very fine with chemo.I'm in my 8 cycle of Folfiri+Avastin , not major effects, good labs,not major liver damage ,no nausea ,no big diarreaha ! CEA,dropping!.
Wow, I must be happy .Yes I'm not having any dramatic effect if I compare my self with other mates.But there a some little things that my doc does not pay attention since every body considers them as an small tribute to be healed.Just want to mention!.
Just a couple of stomach explosions a day , don't know when!. Stomach bloated as a ballon a few days after the infusion!.Terrible roids 3 days after infusion, who care about roids when you are fighting against Cancer?.Some instability problems during 4 days that some times makes me feel as a Zombie!.Sinus problems including breathe, nose ,headache,mucus , cough , deaf ,deeply deaf of my left side!.Hands and feet plenty of small blisters first week after infusion. blurry vision in the afternoon!.Teeth bleeding and painful few days after infusion.Tiredness at least on week every two.Sleeping problems.Bone pains.... And other minor ones that I don't want to remember.Yes I'm a fortunate guy.Just letting you know some of my non important symptoms !.
Always look at the bright side of life.....Tara,Tara,Tara,Tara,Tara ....Docs are funny sometimes !

    These are things that I like to do that make my life on chemo easier.

    I am probably doing well as well, my rash is manageable and not painful, and my blood counts remain good after four treatments. I also seem to be escaping the hair loss common to Irinotecan.

    I got approved for part time, short term disability, so I will work less, maybe just enough to keep up my benefits.

    Kathy and I are discussing a trip to Hawaii, maybe in the fall, and I have a couple of personal trips planned before that, so add travel to the above list.

    Erbitux
    And Irinotecan. Weekly, with every third week Erbitux only.

    Pepe excuse me for my ignorance...what do you mean by Tara Tara Tara??? My son's girlfriends name is Tara!! :) I know when she does something dumb we say Tara Tara Tara and shake our head (usually happens after she's had too much wine).
