We will be celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary in Sept 2012 and I would like to know which Island(s) you would choose and why?

Yes, I am a planner, and I am beginning the planing early :)

=========================================================================================

I am soooooooo confused, you guys have given me some GREAT places to choose from. Keep the ideas / places coming.

My husband LOVES the beaches. He gets himself a lounge chair and umbrella and sits out there ALL DAY. He says its the sound of the ocean that calms him and relaxs him; which I agree with, but it's the sun that I don't like anymore, but as long as I have the umbrella, I am good to go.

    I love the bahamas anywhere.... I just returned from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and it too was awesome. My second time there..... BUT.... Bermuda's pink sand beaches are on my list..and soon.... I have never been there and all my research has been nothing but positive. The most beautiful place I have ever been to.... Virgin Islands!!! have a great time!!!!

    Both must be great but Bermuda is not caribbean so climate
    is not tropical, they are facing north Carolina , so if you spect white sand an warm water you better go to Bahamas!, just my opinion!.
    Hugs!

    pelicans
    I almost got a citation for kicking a huge pelican that was trying to to eat the sandwich I was holding while I was in Bermuda, so I would pick Bahamas, as I hear the wildlife is less agressive there. Unless you are planning to lose weight as part of your vacation, then Bermuda might have more to offer.

    another thought
    I was in Curacao for a couple of weeks. It was wonderful, the most laid back place on earth. I asked a local I met where they went on vacation - he said Bomair, while spreading his hands out before him. If I ever plan an Island vacation, I think Bonair would be the place I would select.

    Love the Bahamas. Got the Atlantis casino there too if you like to gamble. Congratulations on your anniversary.
