Question about hair

My MO said I can color my hair anytime but it still needs to grow a bit longer. After chemo, my lashes grew back first and nice and thick. My eyebrows are ok but not great. However, I have a lot of facial hair on my cheeks. I guess it's not too noticeable but I know it's there. I'm 6 1/2 months post chemo and thought it would be gone by now. I've read some of you shaved it but I'm afraid of it growing back thicker????? I have very little hair on my legs and underarms but I have a small spot near each wrist where the hair grew back a lot???? Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's like Nair, but for me it works better and is more gentle. You can get it at most beauty supply places (like Sally's). I've been using it for years. Good grief, being a woman brings so many grooming issues!

    Char,

I have noticed the same thing on my face. I thought it was just my age and I would love to get rid of that hair. I don't wear make-up much and I just hope people are confusing me with my husband....of course he is 6'1" and I'm 4'10".........

    Hair on face
I think the hair on face has to do with chemo induced menopause. I have the same problem fortunately it is very fine and light. I wouldn't shave. The cream or maybe waxing? For now, I am not doing anything. I only started shaving my legs again last week! Must be the latent hippie in me.

    Good Luck!

    Would not shave
    Hi Char,

I would not shave it. Have a friend who did that to just one side of her face, and it is forever different from the "non shaved" side with more hair as a result.

    Hope this was useful.

    Facial hair..
After chemo....it's due to the steroids, I was told...I just shaved it off and that was the end of it! It was light, sort of fuzzy hair...
