A little happy news: scientists find molecule involved in breast metastasis

I think this is very promising research. Dr. Pollard and associates focused on sites where cancer had spread, and were able to detect a molecule that stimulates metastasis.

If researchers can now find a way to block this molecule...well, you can see how great this could be for all of us! I know it may be a long way off, but it gives me hope and I just had to share.

    Glad to hear that something promising is in the works!! Wouldn't it be wonderful if they found out large amounts of chocolate were beneficial..... Ok that is just me dreaming...... :)

    I'm with you. My downfall is Reese Cups and Hershey Bars. If I eat something I need dessert. What better than chocolate.

    I have my fingers crossed.The longer we make it the more we are going to see.Seems like everytime I pick up the paper another new thing for breast cancer. We're all going to be living longer. Just things I've read in the last month makes me feel this way.
