    Eyes..
Had the same experience with Taxotere/ Cytoxan....partly due to the drugs and partly due to having no eyelashes..my nose ran like crazy, too...some have posted they used eye drops, which helped....I didn't use anything.....mine stopped when chemo was over...especially when my eyelashes grew back...
Some one will chime in with their experience and what helped them...
    Best wishes, Nancy

    Yup
Started 6/15/2010, remember because we had a garage sale that day. Also started getting neuropathy in fingers and toes. Thought it was from lifting heavy box, no, just chemo. I stopped chemo 7/12/2010 and my eyes water really easily when I laugh really hard. Same with nose, runs. We loose nose hair also, which hold in all that junk. With no hairs your nose will run more. It is just one more lovely side effect.

    Watery like a faucet
I had 4 rounds of A/C and 12 rounds of Taxotere. My last infusion was in August 2010. When my eyes were still watering in Nov. 2010 I went to see an opthamologist. He said my tear ducts appeared to be undamaged by the chemo and that this is "a well known side effect of Taxotere." He said that the excessive tearing would eventually go away but could not say when that might be. I was prescribed the eyedrops Lotemax to try. They did no good whatsoever. So here we are almost 10 months post chemo and my eyes are still watery like a faucet. I know that a number of the Pink Sisters have recommended using eye lubricant/artificial tears but that was of no help to me. I will be interested in seeing if anyone comes up with any new suggestions. This constant wiping of the eyes is a real pain.

I had very watery eyes all through chemo. I couldn't control it so just kept drying them with a tissue. At times I had tears floating down my cheek while laying on the rads table. It's perfectly normal and once your lashes grow back it will stop. Stay patient :D

    Yes!
And it was so emarassing, especially at work. Then people always thought that I was "touched" by their stories...until I told them it was the medication.

Very annoying...but it goes away once treatment ends :)

I had the watery eyes and
I had the watery eyes and drippy nose too. Taxotere, Carbo, and Herceptin. I had forgotten about the eyes, but it did stop after the last treatment. The drippy nose has not stopped and I am sure it is related to the Herceptin. It is worst the 3rd week. My onco says she has never heard of this, and it must be allergies, but I am almost 1 year out, and am sure it is the herceptin. Pretty darn confident my "allergies" will go away when I have had my final herceptin!

Mine were the same when I had taxotere also. Ditto the runny nose. I found using over the counter allergy eye drops game me some relief. This stopped shortly after i finished chemo.

    Runny nose and eyes
Had a constant runny nose during chemo and found taking Claritin once a day during my entire treatment almost stopped it completely. Continued it for about 2 weeks after the last cycle. Check with your dr first before starting but may also help with watery eyes.

    It DOESN'T always stop
As I stated in my earlier post, I am 10 months post-chemo and my eyes are STILL watery. I have had a complete set of eyelashes and nasal hair for many months now. While I am glad that the watery eyes and nose have stopped for many of you, that does NOT mean that it happens for everyone - I wish it did. The runny nose ceased a long time ago. Even my opthamologist said that it is possible that the excessively watery eyes will continue. Unless someone has been through this particular side effect I don't think they realize how unpleasant it can be. At least my husband doesn't realize it. May you all have dry(er) eyes.

I didn't do Taxotere but on
I didn't do Taxotere but on A/C my eyes and nose 'ran' like spigots that were turned on. OTC moistureing eye drops help a lot. The nose running bothered me more as it would decide to 'turn on while walking through a store or somewhere else and it is quite embarassing to have to keep a tissue to your nose sontinually so that 'water' isn't literally dripping out of your nose in a steady stream. But that passed and didn't have that problem with Taxol.
