red face - is it an effect of the chemo? Sort of like a red scalp before hair falls off?

Hi everyone,

My husband was just commenting on how my face is red. Although I am light blonde, so you can't really see it, I have much body hair, all fast growing (but of course I groom it). So my conclusion is that my face is red, because the hair follicles in my pale white face with thin skin (blush easily) are being impacted by the chemo. I read about someone who had "all" their hair everywhere on their body fall out. I feel I can be one of those people.

Has anyone experienced this?

    My face was always red for a few days around my chemo days due to the steriods.

    All of my hair fell out when I was doing chemo. We all are affected differently.

    Thanks Donna! I just had my
    Thanks Donna! I just had my first Chemo this past Wednesday. I did not know about possible redness from the steroids. Thanks for calming me that my symptom is normal. I expect all my hair to fall out as it is all fast growing.

    yep i had red faCE AND CHEST THAT IS THE STEROIDS IT WOULD GO AWAY IN ABOUT THE 3RD DAY AFTER MY CHEMO GOOD LUCK...XOXO

    me too then got a red itchy
    me too then got a red itchy rash from taxol. I found Lindi cream to really help, it is on line and made for people on chemo.
