My dad's battle is over

My father passed away Sunday night at 10:29. I spent his last 5 days taking care of him along with my sister in law and mother. Maybe the hardest days of my life, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. |

I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad you were able to spend the final few days with your dad along side your mom. You will never know how much your support meant to your mom, and your dad, I know, was comforted by your love. There are no word that help with the grief you feel, but remember that we are here. My dad passed away 3 weeks ago. Very hard to watch yes,but I to wouldn't have missed being with him for the world. You hurt, you'll miss him, but also there is a peace knowing he is not struggling/suffering anymore. He is at peace.
