Anyone else get an email about the Dr Oz show?

They are taping a show about ovarian cancer in Manhattan, on May 14th. Unfortunately, I will be in NYC on the 11th, so I won't get to participate.

You can send in your photo for the slide show, though. Or, if you live near Manhattan, you might contact them, if you're interested.

Hello NOCC volunteers!

The Dr. Oz show is working on a special segment on ovarian cancer and how important it is to recognize the early warning signs. They are requesting the following things:


They want to invite ovarian cancer survivors who recognized the early warning signs (bloating, abdominal pain, suppressed appetite, frequent urination) to attend the taping and possibly even be involved in the segment. You must be available on Friday May 13th from 8:30am-11:30am and able to commute into Manhattan.

If you're not local and cannot attend the taping, the show would like your photos to use in the opening montage of the show. They may even contact you and ask you to do a voice-over.

If you are interested in participating, either in person or by sending in your photo, please send an email with the following information ASAP to Mlohr@zoco.com. Please put "survivor referred by Ronni Blaisdell" in the subject line and cc Ronni at rblaisdell@ovarian.org.
