Cancer has metastasized

in Esophageal Cancer #1
Well it's official, Derek's Cancer has metastasized into several areas of his body. So we have decided not to continue with the chemo here in Canada, but try an alternative treatment at the CHIPSA Hospital in Mexico. The Coley's looks really promising. I would like to know if anyelse has tried this treatment.

    I haven't heard of it but I am fairly new at this. My husband was diagnosed in March of this year. But, we knew something was wrong in January. So he has pretty much been dealing with this terrible disease for 5 months and it rules our lives. Good luck You are in my prayers.

    I am so sorry to hear the cancer has metastasized. Sherri is probably the best person to "talk" with regarding treatments to extend life. I have not heard of the Coley's. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

    Coleys Treatment
    Well we have arrivced in Mexico at the CHIPSA Hospital to undergo a fairly lengthy treatment plan (1 month) including the coleys. I will keep everyone in the loop on the outcome as it is an alternative treatment that sounds promising.
