Digestive (chemo) question!

I had my first chemo on Friday (T/C) and ended up having to take Immodium yesterday morning (had the opposite problem prior to that), which took care of all the diarrhea, bloating, etc. in one dose. I have felt fine since then, till now. I have a lot of gas (upper - burping, etc. but no other symptoms) and was wondering taking another dose would be a good idea? If not, suggestions for what I do have right now?

Thanks!

Nancy

    Heartburn?
I had that so much during chemo due to the steroids..Decadron...they wanted to add yet another drug to combat that....I choose to do an old home remedy instead..I mixed baking soda and water...instant relief...with chemo if it's not one thing it's another!

    Best wishes,
    Nancy

Here is a great link that
Here is a great link that goes over nearly every GI chemo side effect including diarrhea, gas, nausea, etc:

Managing Abdominal Issues During Chemo from Chemocare

It goes without saying, check with your oncologist before trying any OTC meds.

    I think its pretty normal
On the way back from chemo, I'd have to pull over to every gas station, and I lived an hour away....long trip...immodiom was my best friend.
