I am a four-year survivor...new to this board. Has anyone experienced a renewed irritation of the colon? Seems like I have irritable bowel syndrome lately. I take daily Immodium which worked up until lately, and now I just feel "crampy" after eating, etc. All my scans and counts have been good. Also I was reading about citrus and fruit on another message....that's impossible for me. I'm lactose intolerant and can't eat much fruit or veggies, all the stuff that's sposed to be good for you. any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

    Have you tried
    Have you tried Probiotics?

Sometimes when our natural flora in our digestive tract gets out of balanced we have cramps, bloating, etc... Probiotics are a variety of good flora that helps recolonize one's digestive tract. When I get a upset stomach I take some probiotics. It does not always work,, but it works more often then not. My wife is allergic to soy. (Soy is in almost all processed food.) When she has ate something wth soy, she get IBS symptoms. She takes some probiotics and it settles her digestive tract down. It does not solve the rumbeling it just lessons it.

    Just a thought.
    Best Always, mike

    I used a supplement - GI Revive
GI Revive is a supplement that supposedly helps restore the normal mucosal lining of the intestine. I was advised to use it for 30 days, plus to take 40 billion units of probiotics that contained at least both lactobacillus and bifidium (can't quite remember the second class of probiotic, but that's close enough.)

GI Revive comes in a powder - 1 tsp/day on food or you can get it in capsules: 7 capsules once daily. I took the capsules, couldn't stand the taste of the powder. It might help.

thanks to all for the input, I will try those things. In the meantime I've been careful of diet and things are better...
