While going through radiation I made chart of how many days I completd and how many more to go etc..

so my question is: Has anyone else made a scrap page (NOT WHOLE BOOK) in ref; to BC?

Oddly as it sounds I did...I put in my little charts I made, My ID swipe badge from cancer center...rad grad certificate etc..

good or bad it was part of my life...

JUST curious

    no energy
I haven't had the energy but have been keeping all kinds of little things and plan to. I've kept a journal with my feelings etc. too and copied all the postings from my Caring Bridge website.

    I did journals too...
    I must

    I did journals too...

I must say I was very lucky if you want to call it that..I did not have any side effects from radiation..

NO burning, rash, chapping, NOT tired...I TOLD my doctors I THINK since I am such a HIGH energy person perhaps it would even me out to someone my age...hehe...then 48 yrs old.

I even worked full time and packed friends house of 35 yrs (moved to another state) alone after work...

    Sorry Can't Imagine it
I on the other hand wanted no reminders my scars are enough. I made sure there wasn't even a bald pic around of those days.

What a great idea! I never thought of doing one, but now that you've brought it up, I think I will! I've saved everything and have a journal so it should be easy peasy to put one together! Thanks for the suggestion!

    Keeping track...
    Hi there.

I have kept journals off and on since I was child. I started keeping an online journal, a blog, from the time my breast cancer journey began last year. I'm still going through treatment and will continue to keep it for some time afterward. I decided to keep a blog initially so that I could keep friends and extended family up-to-date with my journey. Writing about my journey has also helped me cope with it all better. For anyone who is interested, you can read my blog at www.personalexploration.blogspot.com

I've also found that writing about each step has been easier for me than trying to articulate it all over the phone to others.

I have two binders with all
I have two binders with all of my emails, cards and Facebook posts I have received, along with my reports (so far, got a lot further to go still) and instructions, etc. It is a great comfort to me to pick it up and read everyone's messages when I am feeling down. I like your scrap page idea. That could be done for each new BC "adventure".

wow what a response from my "AM I THE ONLY ONE"?
I didn't go crazy with my 2 pages..just something (like all my pages) I have done! I did it when all my treatments were over like the end of that chapter!

    Thanks for replies...

Just simple (not over the top) but I remember the day i was done and didn't need to carry my ID swipe for treatments....so that went in on my page for sure.

ID card with MY picture of the first day I went to dry run! each time I walked in I swiped and went to get ready. Also I was given a dammit rag doll with little saying attached so I took that little card off (since doll wouldn't fit hehe) and put on scarp page...

Sorry...I HOPE this doesn't offend you or anything...I guess we each handle things so much differently!

To me my last day of radiation is the DAY I REALLY Remember!
    THE END!

    Kept the calendars
I kept the calendars I had, one at home and one at work, showing every appointment. For rads I'd cross off treatments by week. I later transferred everything to one list and keep that with the info sent by my cancer center about the diagnosis and treatment. I could never decide what to do with my rads certificate. Part of me wants to frame it, but then again. . .
