calcium buildup after bc lumpectomy

Options
ok here is a question to all the pink sisters out there..... has anyone ever had problems with calcium buildup , enough to form lumps not big ones but noticeable ones. I am nervous that I am going to have every new lump checked is this going to be a life long thing, or does this happen just every now and then?? Better yet is this a normal situation? Other than that my feet are getting better, the numbness from node removal is not changed. My hair is back and have had a hair trim so far. My eyebrows are leaving me again, not as bad as first time. Oh the joys of looking in the mirror, BEST SIDE I AM ALIVE!!! Thanks in advance for the help sisters have a good day.

    No but
I did find a lump 2 days before my second surgery when the doctor wanted to check margins. It was a benign tumor.Thank Goodness.

When the tumor was found I also was told I had a cyst but that wasn't a worry. Although they needed to biopsy on the tumor.Malignant.

So now after all my mammos I am told there is a place that appears to be Benign.I guess they are talking about that cyst.If so why not take it out or needle biopsy it.I had a cyst many years ago but my doctor aspirated it with a needle and tested it.It was growing so I guess they are waiting to see if this one grows.

With all my 5 benign(lose count) and 1 malignant tumor no one has ever been mentioned calcifications.

Disney. That blow to your breast after the wreck was about the same thing that happened to me.My grandson accidentally elbowed me when he threw a ball.Hit my cystic and benign tumor breast(had them for years) on that side. Then my next mammo the tumor was found. I also had alot of stress that year so I kinda put the problem on both things.Could be either one or combination of both.Anyway I knew I was doomed after both those situations.

almost every mammo I had to have a repeat
Seems like since I was first getting my mammo until BC I had to go through a recheck. Mine were not calcium but fatty tissues. So the last time I said here we go again another retest. Well that time they found something. So I won't complain anymore about retest. Better safe than not know. Still having so much pain in breast and nodes. Had lumpectomy done on Aug.2,2010 and finished rads Nov.7.2010. Doctor says the pain could go away or be there forever.

Good luck to you and God Bless... Diana

sorry upnorth I have no info for you
But I wanted to mention to gagee that my breast hurts also, really tender and it hurts worse at night when I take off my bra to sleep. My lumpectomy was Sept 15, 2010 and I finished rads on Dec 3, 2010. My right breast hurts constantly and I'm scared to death to go get my mamogram in 3 weeks. YIKES.........not of the results but because of OH LORD IT'S GONNA HURT.
