As per special email I just saw from medpagetoday.com

"APP Pharmaceuticals has recalled five lots of irinotecan hydrochloride, used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer, because fungal contamination was found in one lot"

Do not know how large a "lot" is,lot #s involved listed in brief newsflash.....


Concludes:"No adverse events related to the recalled product have been reported"

    I really don't know where everyone/anyone around the world gets their chemo stuff from.....

    Apparently this had first been reported on March 25, as per

    Thank You for this info. Johnnybegood is starting this drug on Wedensday. I will call her tomorrow and make sure she gets this info to her onc.
