I did not find this site until after the fact
I still check in daily....and wish I had found it at the start of all my BC almost 3 yrs ago...
better late then never ..right?

I can assure you that if you follow the discussions on this site you will be able to enter your surgery feeling more confident. The doctor will tell you things and even if you write down his answer, you will hear some of the same phrases repeated here in the experinces of the women on this site. (By the way I took my laptop to the surgeon's office so that I could type his answers in right after the question.) This site allows you to process some very difficult information emotions in a gentle manner. This is not a fight that you want to go through alone. Of course you have your family but no one gets what's going on with you quite like one who has walked the path before you or with you.0 -

I, too am fairly new to this site. It's a GREAT place to get questions answered, to vent and also post fun facts and thoughts. Not so good, the Reason we're all gathered here... BUT, I'm soooo Happy for the positive support, wisdom and have found it a Great place to make new friends.
