I now this may be a very supid question but I just received my ca125 results and it has gone up from 7 to 9 and I know that is normal range up if it is going up does that mean the cancer is coming back--I have been done with chemo for 1 year now and was just VERY scared. Lately have been feeling very warn out so I am hoping nothing bad is happening--thank you for your time and support.

    CA-125
    Good Morning,
I was DX'ed the same time you were, but I was a 2b. My CA-125 was always around 7 and it jumped to 10. I had them pull another blood draw 2 weeks later and it went back down to 7. So, it can move around some. If it will make you feel better, ask for another blood draw. Also, I am worn out. Thank-You, Paula

    Any number under 10!
I've read on here that they class 1-10 as being the same thing, as with any test ,there will be tiny variations, don't worry 10 rocks!!!!!

    Don't worry
Don't worry. 10 is a very good number and well within the normal range. The number fluctuates. Kind of like taking your blood pressure. Different all the time.

No worries with a CA125 like that!
My oncologist told me a CA125 can flucuate as much as 5 points in any given day. Please don't give this another moment of worry!

I remember when I first heard about the CA 125
at the first meeting with my oncologist. My reading was 6900+ and she said that less than 35 is normal. Boy did that frighten me. I was a newbie and had no idea what was in store for me. My last reading in January was 7 and I am due for one in April.
