Tethys41, Where do you receive your Vit C IV treatments?

Tethys41,Thank you for sharing this information. I remember reading much of what you shared about 2 1/2 years ago when I was researching to help my brother who was dying of colon cancer. He had started the treatments, and supplements too I believe, at the Wellness Center I think it was called started by Dr. Whittaker in Newport Beach, CA. Do you know of them? I know my brother did feel better, but it was too late for him, he had gone through too much. Now I find myself with cancer, and do not want to suffer through as much as he did before looking into alternate and complementary treatments, although I don't know how supportive my doctors as Kaiser Permanente will be of it. Where do you receive your treatments? Is it connected with the naturopath you see in Palm Springs? I do plan to call her office and see if there is anyone nearer me in San Diego.
Thank you, Chris

    Naturopaths
I am guessing that any naturopath in your area can give you the IVs. In California, naturopaths are licensed, so are considered doctors. I actually live in Colorado, but came to California for my surgery and to start my treatment because there are no gyn/onc's near where I live. I opted for California because my brother lives there. That is how I became involved with Dr. Fung, in Palm Springs. Her office should be able to refer you to someone closer to you. There are a lot of naturopaths in your area, so I can't imagine you would have trouble finding one nearby.

I too watched my mother suffer with breast cancer back in the eightys. I learned a lot from her experience. When I was diagnosed, I realized that I wanted to do something more than chemo, and I knew I had to change my perspective on life.

My oncologists were not receptive to the alternative things I was doing, but I told them I was getting good results so didn't want to change what I was doing. I receive the IVs from a nurse practitioner in Durango, where I live. I started getting them with Dr. Fung, when I was in CA.

    Best of luck to you,
You will be in good hands,
    Kate

    Sonja Fung?
    Hello Kate,
Was the Palm Springs doctor you saw Sonja Fung? I am looking into finding a naturopath here in San Diego, but as you said she might be able to recommend someone good in my area.
    Thank you,
    Chris
