I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the ladies on this site. I am so very encouraged and feel very blessed, even if Im not living in your lovely country ( which I have visited several times), the encouragements, advice and much more is so appreciated.

i would love to encourage my fellow sisters here in South Africa to start something like this, it would be so helpful.

tomorrow is the big day..10 am chemo ward...one little step for cathy..one huge step against cancer!!!!

Yesterday was my first chemo day and I have to say it was pretty easy. I took all my meds and so far so good-no nausea which I really dreaded. I am a bit tired because the steriods they give you kept me awake but all in all I really feel well. I will be thinking of you and you can picture me holding your hand as you read this! Hugs to you.

Chemo starting tomorrow. Another milestone in your fight!

Be good to yourself, get lots of rest and let your doc know if you have any problems from the chemo.

Wishing you the best and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!

You've already taken many steps on this journey, each of them took courage and strength. Let us know how you do with this next step.

Hugs,

The beauty of a site like this is that we are breasts without borders. I do agree it would nice to have some type of site that is also local for you. Then you have the opportunity to hear what treatment is like for others in South Africa first hand. You are now taking the next step in your treatments. Step by step and day by day brings you closer and closer to reaching our common goal, dancing with NED (No Evidence of Disease) Positive thoughts and prayers coming your way for good results with all your treatments.
