Bile reflux

16 months post Roux en Y for gastric cancer. Doing well except for bile reguxing up into my esophagus. Nauseating and uncomfortable. Does any one have any suggestions that might help? Diane C.

Hello Diane and welcome. Congrats on a successful surgery! It sounds like you are having acid reflux. There are many over the counter meds out there to treat this. I would also suggest asking your dr. what he would prescribe. You take these meds before meals. Eat smaller meals throughout the day, and raise the head of your bed so you are not laying down flat. Hope this helps!

bile reflux

I take prilosec. This is bile [I can tell from the taste] It's not acid reflux looking for help with that. Diane C.

My father has the same problem.Has anyone has any suggestion to cure it? Thanks
