I found out yesterday that my husband's brother (64 yrs old) was dx with lung, liver and bone cancer. He was meeting with his dr today to discuss options for treatment. He has already survived prostate cancer several years ago. Please keep him in your prayers. My husband has already lost a brother to throat & mouth cancer (38 yrs old) and a sister (age 57) to lung, collarbone, rib & brain cancer.

I worry about my children because there is so much cancer on both sides of our family.

I hope someday reasearchers will find out the whys and hows to cure these cancers. The sooner the better for all of us and our children. I am so sorry your family has to bear even more bad news. Char, you always send hugs but these are for you. (((((((you)))))))

Oh Char this is so much for one family to bear, I am truly sorry for you and yours. I know the fear you have for your children as it runs rampant in my family as well (lost my mom, sister, aunt and sister in-law to cancer). You have to educate them and make sure they are aware of their health and love them, I think that is all that we can do. You and yours will be in my prayers.

    So Sorry..
I understand what you're going through. My father was diagnosed with Stage IV inoperable Esophageal cancer back in March of '10. He has mets to the liver and spine. They gave him 6 months, but he's stil here. Not much they can do for him but pallative care...he's had radiation treatment and several chemo treatments to give more time.

It's incredibly sad and stressful on all the family.

My heart goes out to you. I'll be praying for you and your family.

    Blessings,
    Sally
