While we are on the subject..I made the donation to Heidi too

Kindred Spirits,

I have not lost sight of our dear Heidi and her wishes to have a donation made to the ACS. This I also did this morning; specifically to BC research. The ACS will be sending me an acknowledgment card; I had it made in honor of Heidijez from the Kindred Spirits. It(the card) should arrive via snailmail in about 10 days. I hope to take a picture of it and post it on my expressions page.

I still have to make a donation to a Penguin Rescue...forgive me if I am lagging a bit behind.

    Dearest Chen,

    I just checked the time stamps -- less than 4 hours after Joe informed us of Moopy's passing, you had already sent flowers to him. Just over 24 hours later, you had the donation made to the ASPCA. All this just a few weeks after sending flowers to Heidi's family, and somehow finding the time to send us all loving thank you cards for our donations.

    Girl, if you call that "lagging," then you need to drive down here so I can thump you. Your willingness to act from your heart makes us all proud.

    Thanks for the reality check, Traci~I needed to literally laugh out loud today, and your reply made both Reggie and me laugh! He loved that you threatened to thump me! :-) I do lead with my heart, but it is oftentines seasoned with guilt! Thanks again! Love you!

    always will be. You are truly an inspiration to so many of us here. I wish I had the words to describe what a terrific, fabulous and beautiful women you are.

    Forgive - what?!? While instense grief paralyzes me, you spring into action! Yet another admirable Chenheart trait.

    Doesn't matter when you do what you promise you will. You are trusted, implicitly, by all of us.

    I agree
    I agree with VickiSam, I aspire to be half the woman you are. You are one amazing woman and the only person I have ever trusted my address to but never met on the computer. I am extremely safety conscious (sometimes overly) so that is saying something. Just saying thank you for all that you do for all of us seems inadequate but it's all I've got.
