For my next surgery that is :( LOL

Cat scan in the morning

Pre op on Thursday at noon

Surgery at 7am on Monday I have to arrive at 5am, have MRI at 6am and surgery at 7am. To top it off Monday is my birthday!!!! Suppossed to only have to stay one night, fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I had so much trouble with my IV's last time I'm thinking of having my cancer center access my port ahead of time, what do ya'll think???

    You know you have my prayers, as well as all of the other sisters in pink here! You always have and you always will Libby!

    I don't know anything about a port, as, I didn't have chemo. I am sure the sisters here that have will give you their opinion.

    And, my fingers, toes and everything else that I can are crossed for you to only spend one night in the hospital!

    This is not the kind of birthday party you wanted, I'm sure!
    But by the time your surgery is over you will be another step closer to healthy! So that makes it a good day for you.

    Just remember, all of our prayers and best wishes will be with you that morning. You've gotten through so much already that I know you will get through this also; I predict with flying colors. Stay strong and feel all the hugs coming your way!

    Well, I'm not sure it's the most romantic setting, but...

    Seriously, I know you are glad to be moving forward, even if this wasn't your first choice of how to spend your birthday. Just remember that you're doing it so that you can have many, many, more birthdays.

    You will definitely not be alone that day - Make sure they make room for us in the OR!

    Libby, I'll be thinking of you on Monday, too, in hopes that this surgery does the trick. By that I mean beats the living $%&% out of the beast within. I know it's not the BEST way to celebrate your birthday but if it gives you the opportunity to celebrate just that many more, it's all worth it. Sending strength and (((hugs))) your way. You are one strong warrior!!
