As I have been having so much trouble peeing. Not a UTI, I'm supposed to see my onc tomorrow, so I guess I'll probably have more tests. I can barely walk with BOTH legs now numb. I fell yesterday 3 times. Today I've got the walker.

It seems like every time something good happens it's followed by something bad.

    Moopy and I are both sorry to hear this. hope your onc has some answers... The ones around here won't even admit if it's dark outside.

    What is going on??? Ugh...hope your oncologist has some answers for you. Sometimes, it just feels like they are in slow motion and i just want to run, run, run. Take care

    perhaps they need to admit you like MOopy and do thests to figure this out. I know people who have had compression on there spinal cord from a disc issue and could not urinate. they needed to have surgery to fix the disc. you did say your back hurt, is it lower back?
    I would be camping out tomorrow and make them listen or ask for a referral to orlando or somewhere else big. enough is enough!!!

    I'm so sorry to hear about what's going on with you. Numb legs causing falling is not a good thing. Loss of bladder/bowel functions is a side effect of neuropathy. I have overactive bladder from the pressure on my lumbar area. I certainly hope your onc has some suggestions to help you improve your quality of life now.

    I am glad that you have the walker. It can at least give you some support. I hope that your doctors get on the ball and start tests STAT. I agree with whoever said that maybe you should see about being admitted to speed up the tests and have any of them done as quickly as possible. I will keep you in my prayers and good thoughts.

    THANKS YA'LL!
    just got back from the onc and she's sending me to a urologist and neurologist. She says it's all related to the neuropathy. I may have to learn how to catheterize myself.... ugh
