    I just started
Taxol (I've completed 4 treatments of Taxotere/Cytoxan)and after the Neulasta shot, every bone in my body is aching. My onc told me to take Glutamine for 4 days--it was supposed to help and maybe without it, the pain would have been worse. Last night I wanted to slather Ben Gay all over me (but I didn't). Tylenol helps some, but I think that time is what is needed. Today the pain is already less...and only 1 more treatment for me on 1/7!!
Call your onc, perhaps they can give you something for your pain.
    good luck,

    guessing
I am guessing that you are talking about a tingling sensation, or maybe cold feeling on the skin. I had some of that, but not too bad. Look on chemocare.com for specific drugs and their side effects. Also ask your Dr. (as always).

    Hope it gets better, seof

    Neuropathy
I got this when I was having A/C and continued with Taxol, and still have it 7 months later. It is worst in my feet and lower legs. I assume what you are describing is neuropathy. Definitely not fun.

    Ben Gay Feeling
The pains and aches in the joints and muscles usually happen for me after the Neulasta shot following my Chemo treatments. Tylenol, extra strength helped me. Onc. can prescribe something it that doesn't do it. Was hard to even lift my head, walk or move for about a day or two after the shot. This goes away in time. The "foggy thinking", or hangover feeling came after that. This went away too in two days. Everyone is different in how their body tolerates pain; ask your Onc. or the Onc. nurse. Did find that Vicks Vapor Rub around the neck and shoulder area helped.

Are you talking about a cold, tingling sensation across your skin? If so, yes, I have experienced this feeling often. I did four cycles of AC and four cycles of Taxol. Though AC has the bad reputation and is called the Red Devil, the side effects from it were minimal for me. All side effects from chemotherapy came with the Taxol(except for the hair loss, of course). Neuropathy, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, sore fingertips, loss of fingernails and toenails, blood transfusion. I hated it so badly that I wanted to stop after the second Taxol treatment. But my onc would not hear of it! Now it's behind me, and I have other things to concern myself with. Hang in there, even if it is yucky. You'll be in my thoughts.

Peace to you & have a blessed holiday season.
