    Christmas
I too would like my CA125 to stay low and for NED to never leave me. I want to hold my grand daughter all day long (she is 6 months old). I want my children (daughter 22 son 24) to sit in my lap and tell me about their day just like they used to. I want to dance with my husband in the middle of the living room while Christmas music plays. And last but not least, I want to die a cancer free 100 year old woman. I would just like to say , Santa, I've been a very good girl this year!!! :)

Dear Santa please may I .................
I would like this cancer to be gone from my body. I would also like to see my son and daughter getting married and I would also like to still be around when they produce grandchildren. But most of all I would like to be re-united with my soul mate who ended our relationship 2 years ago ........... I miss you so much.

    Christmas Wish List
For Christmas I want my Mom to stop being so scared all the time. I want to be able to talk to her like I used to and for her to start to deal with the way she is feeling instead of stuffing her feelings with medication. I want her to find inner peace so she can enjoy whatever time she has whether it be 1 year or 10. Mostly, I want this disease to just disappear from everyone's lives.

This is my 3rd Christmas with cancer.
I remember my 2008 Christmas when I was deep into my initial carbo/taxol rounds and my grandkids and sons and everyone had the flu, and my low immunity kept me from the parties and shopping and Christmas pagents; and my son wisely (??) kept my beloved snotty-nosed grandkids away from me so that we didn't get to make gingerbread houses or cookies or ride the Polar Express with Santa. I even stopped phoning people when I was lonely because I would start crying and shame myself with my self-pity. (In my defense, my counts WERE all low and I wasn't myself!)

At Christmas 2009 I was a month into the heartbreak of my 1st recurrence and had 4 rounds of weekly taxol in me by then. I thought of that "2009" Christmas as I put up my 2010 Christmas tree. I tried not to be melodramatic in 2009, but I know my entire '1st recurrence' shell-shocked family thought it might be my last Christmas. (WRONG! THANK THE LORD!) Last week I had to sneak upstairs and climb under the bed to the storage box where I keep all of things I want to leave my grandkids. I needed to dig out the family heirloom ornaments I want them to have so that they could again go on my 2010 tree. It is such a JOY and BLESSING to still be here this Christmas and watch them hang these treasures lovingly on the tree and to tell them the story behind each one once more. I know in January that I will again sneakliy return them to their 'inheritence' box under the bed. What I want for Christmas is the chance to again, at Christmas 2011, laugh at myself as I dig those special ornaments out AGAIN for them to hang on my 2012 tree!

    What I want
I want toooo much. I want my Dennis back. You were taken away from me way too soon. I know that you would hold me and let me cry and support me in every way. I want this word "cancer" to become obsolete. Please let a cure be found for all types of cancer.

Hmmm....I guess if I were running for Miss America.... I would want World Peace and I really would like to see that. But I want peace for all my teal warriors.

    Love you all
    Linda
