    That is too tame!
Now if it was an eclaire...with creamy inside, flakey pastery and lots of chocolate on top...that would be truely decadent!

Enjoy your treat and return of the taste buds.

Yeah, the lost of taste is a horrible side effect. I can't stand eating food because it tastes like mush. Actually, sweets are just about the only things I can taste while I'm on chemo. I'm glad you are enjoying your food.

    Lobster
I'd be eating a 1 pound lobster tail with drawn garlic butter for my first taste - yummy. Either that or a turkey dinner :) Enjoy your croissant.

There is reason that sweet taste good, stay away from them for the most part! Cancer loves it!! I NEVER at sweets, until cancer, then craved it!

Saute up some potatoes and put them in a flour tortilla, add it bit of salsa....that was what I could eat. Make the potatoes just a bit crispy.
That's what my sister would bring me.

room temp lemonade is good too. I use Stevia as a sweetner, as it's a natural sweetner.

    yay!
glad you can taste again! Considering the fact that we need to eat, it is always much nicer when we are eating because we WANT to rather than because we HAVE to! Hope your tummy ache goes away soon!

    Pepe,
    I'm so glad you can

    Pepe,
I'm so glad you can taste again. Mom had that problem during her treatment. Nothing tasted good, even the things she loved. She got those taste buds back and actually gained 4 pounds, lol. Now, every time someone is in the kitchen or passing by it, she will ask for an ice cream :)
    Good for you!
    Linda
PS, can you send those wonderful croissants overseas? lol
