I felt like I was dealing with the cancer DX, blood clot injections and upcoming Chemo pretty well. Eating well, sleeping well and getting moderate exericse do the degree I could being 3 weeks post surgery. Then the last two nights I started to have very troubling dreams. Not nightmares but still waking up and leaving me rattled. Which then pretty much sets the tone for the day. Any others with similar issue and is it just transitory? Also, while waiting for a lab result a few weeks ago a chemo patient told me that one of the side effects of chemo is nightmares....that she dreaded going to sleep. That was the first I had heard of that side effect...any experiences or thoughts? Thanks,
Susan

    Dear Susan
I have experienced this and I keep my MP3 player, loaded with audiobooks and right next to my bed. When I awake in the night, I pop on a story and I'm lulled back to sleep. Medication, steroids, chemo all could be factors, but hey, this is stressful stuff that we go through.
