I had my surgery yesterday - home today

I had my surgery yesterday, came home today. I had right side mastectomy. I feel pretty good alittle sore no big deal. I have some reading to do as I haven't been here in a couple days. Thanks to all of you and all the prayers I really appreciate it more then you know. Take care have to go rest more later Kay

    Kay, at least your surgery is now behind you. Be kind to yourself and rest and give yourself time to recover. I'm happy that everything went well. You are on your way to that glorious dance. Take care!

    good to be home. Now all you have to do is rest,drink lots of water and do the exercises they gave you. I found walking outside improved my spirits immensely. I had no pain after the first day and it sounds like you are that way too. I thought the worst thing was the drain and that lasted a week so hang in there with that. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

    glad your surgery went well. I had bilateral in June and my drains were removed 10 days later. Take the time to rest and you will heal fine. I will keep you in my thoughts.

    Glad you're back home, Kay
    Now rest, pamper yourself and let others help you get back on your feet. Don't push yourself--give yourself permission to take it easy and heal.

    for the first 3 days .. allow your body to heal a little, if this is possible. Let us know how things are going ..

    Time for healing
    Take it easy, and take the pain meds if you need them. Sounds like it went well. In one day home the next. Can't complain to much about that. Take care
